Adele’s 2016 European Tour started in late February. After her first show she took some time to visit a terminally ill young fan.
While in Belfast, Northern Ireland she stopped by the home of 12-year old Rebecca Gibney. In December, Rebecca was given 6-months to live. Rebecca is blind and suffers from Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. She listens to Adele’s music from morning until night according to her mom.

When Tracy, Rebecca’s mother, heard that Adele’s tour would be coming to Belfast she began a social media campaign on Change.org.
She asked Adele to facetime or call her daughter. Even better, Adele came in person for a visit. “I can’s believe it, I’m just over the moon,” the Belfast Telegraph quotes Rebecca after meeting Adele. “My daughter got to meet the person that she loved, and that’s what I’ll always take with me for the rest of my life. Adele played with her hair, and held her hand and asked her all about Frozen. She was really lovely.”
Adele’s tour continues through mid June throughout Europe. All shows are sold out. You go girl!
